When I was younger my parents bought a huge set of The New Book of Knowledge published by Grolier in the late nineteen sixties and seventies. Some of you will remember those thick cream colored hard cover books full of words and pictures and the less thick books with all the fairy tales and Walt Disney characters. Mickey and Minnie were so lovely and cute. I used to spend hours reading both sets. It brought me much pleasure to read about all the countries around the world, all the states in the United States, and many many more about the wonders of life and man's creative powers. It was fascinating and inspiring.
Now as an adult, I still love to read and it is my turn to be "The New Book of Knowledge". However as we live in the internet age, it has to be"The New Blog of Knowledge". So my intention is that this blog will be a source of fascination and inspiration to you readers. Feel free to share any comments so that this blog will be like a dialog in the days of Plato and Aristotle.
